Last night, we stayed in the Shadow Inn (Umbra or penumbra, I ask myself, internally chortling at my own geekery). It is a bit rainy here too and definitely a bohemian touristy vibe going on. We stopped for a well needed dinner and I, unbeknownst to me chose the hottest curry ever- pork black. Now I am no spice wuss, I have had meals cooked for me by friends of Italian heritage after all (Anna, and more recently Tim).
