Next we head to the Skyrail to Kuranda and then the hand built railway back to Freshwater.
The Skyrail was a bit more rickety than the Singapore one, but equally as astonishing views, this time of vast acres of dense rainforest.
The views of Barron Gorge and waterfall were really pretty & lush. The Kuranda railway offered similar views but a bit hotter, a different angle, and an Asian guy trying to pick his brains out through his nose, or so it seemed! No shame! The engineering is very impressive, especially over the bridge. No power tools back then, all done by hand!! Crackers. (I’m on about the railway, not the nostril invader!)
