Twas the night before Christmas… down under!
And we are going to the beeeeeach!! Yay! Cousin Emily & Callum got married on Glenelg, and the photos look lush, so we use Ash/ Courtney’s Car to take the 40min drive down there. It is just gorgeous! White sands, not too busy, lofty breeze. On the way back to Salisbury East, we stop at every coastal town, and enjoy West Beach, where we have a coffee at a surf club, and admire the panoramic views of unspoiled coast. Then Henley Beach that is a bit busier, and we picked up some whiskey to share around Christmas Day. Then we went to the granges, which offered much of the same as West Beach. Then Semaphore that had a fun fare, a pier, and some tasty rock salt and caramel ice cream, along with a steam train track! We stopped and picked up a stone baked pizza from Capri on the way back to Nanny Carols. Really ace day out & we appreciate having a car on hol. Opens a whole new world! Leon’s first go at driving an automatic, and abroad! The man did well.
