Coco (Disney film)
We went to see the new Disney film, yet to be released in the UK. The title is crap and misleading, as the TLDR is, it was very good.
It’s all about a lil lad (not called Coco, that’s his great grandma), who wants to be a musician, but his family have forbidden it. The whole theme is me I am day of the dead, and with a massive unseen plot twist, incredible animation, and colour that just makes you squeal inside with joy, I loved this film. I ended up laughing at myself crying, as the overall message is so poignant, especially with us being so far from loved ones. But I won’t say too much more incase I spoil it. Not really a musical, and not the catchiness of Frozen or Moana, but def up there for me, just for the feels. The lil dog Dante is really funny too.
