Lake Constance & Switzerland
Weds 21st: Grabbed the merc from the car park with the most fancy cars all together I have ever seen! A Porsche, McClaren, and Carrera. I took some photos to add to the gallery.
We head off to Lake Constance. Another beautiful drive, if quite long! (3.5hr). We reach the lake & it is vast, and flipping cold! So we have a wonder around and then decide to pop over to Switzerland, as the lake is border to Germany, Switz, and Austria! We seamlessly cross the border with no passports or fuss. However, although only a border, and the scenery is similar, I got a distinct difference in architecture. Very minimalist, with clean lines. We stop at a quaint patisserie/ choc shop & leon chooses a ‘posh twix’ And I have an apple frangipane like thing which is quite possibly one of the best cakes I have eaten! We take a wander about around the other side of the lake and enjoy the well deserved stretch of legs.
Then we head back and Leon is getting cramp in his legs occasionally, so we stop off now and then to get his blood flowing.
