Leon accustoms himself to the hire car like a pro. You wouldn’t think he’s only been driving a year and a half. We are in an automatic Astra so it is pretty similar to our car, only less gears to worry about. Just have to ensure we stay on the right! We head to Mlini, expecting crazy drivers, but it all seems pretty normal! Maybe Malta drivers have spoilt us haha! They were particularly mental. Mlini is a quiet coastal town, framed by the backdrop of the Dinic alps. Even though not sunny, it is so picturesque and the sea appears lit from within. After parking up into the Hotel Astarea and dropping off our hilariously small backpacks that mainly contains snorkels and seashoes, we take a wander. There are a few decorative water mills. We walk for about 2 hours until our room is ready at 2pm. We are both pretty tired, and take an afternoon nap.
