Split itself, is an old historic city built around the very beautiful ruins of Diocletian’s Palace. We took a journey into the basement, which was stone arched ceiling (Linds would be correcting me right now with the proper name) and also the setting for where Khaleesi keeps her dragons in Game of Thrones, a TV series I am a little obsessed with. Very cool. It’s a glorious day and we then have a sit on the promenade with a nice cold drink, and compare the feel to Malaga city. The palm trees, amidst the old architecture and marble is somewhat familiar.
