Summer nights

We got to the aluasoul resort for adults only in Cala egos at about 5.30pm. We were greeted by smiles and cava, and were delighted with the clean, minimalist styling. Like the ‘imagine’ video… just the way we like it.
We are on the 3rd floor and overlooking a beautiful, serene bay. It’s so quiet here. Everyone seems very chilled, no lairy behaviour. We pop our backpacks into the room, get changed and head to one of the buffet restaurants. We are all inclusive, so have to try to eat as much as we can haha!
I had an odd salad to start, with purple sprouted seeds that were very bitter. Then swordfish and a medley of veg, washed down with my own concoction of sparking wine and peach juice. The desserts were also typical for abroad. I had a chocolate mousse and what I can only describe as tiramisu without the coffee. My Mum was ready to drop so they headed to bed, and we went to the beach bar. A chap called Joe was performing covers with a backing track and his acoustic guitar. We later find out he is a comedian, and does the music on the side, and comes from Cornwall! A few cocktails and sangrias later, we are flinging each other round to ‘little old wine drinker me’ and Leon spills sangria down his linen cut offs. Haha!! We then sat and chatted to 2 lovely ladies in their mid to late 50’s, Jackie from Wiltshire, and Glynis from Isle of Wight, about everything under the sun until gone 1am. They said they knew it was our first night as we were so pie-eyed, and thought we were actors due to the elaborate dance moves LOL!!!! Glad we made an impression.
I have a bit of a muzzy head this morning, and am promising myself not to mix so many different drinks today. Let’s see!
