Had a delicious breakfast… I’ve properly drilled down on what I love. All killer, no filler! Smoked salmon and egg on toasted German rye bread with some multivitamin juice!
We are spending today in the hotel gym/ spa complex, as we have a really late flight home.
Many swims, whirlpools, saunas, a gallon of herbal tea, and 1/4 through my book of dust later, and we are ready to go! The breakfast lasted us really well!
We take our final amble up Lichtentaller Allee about 5pm, and decide to go for the street food, hoping after last nights failing, it’s less busy earlier and on a Sunday. Our backpacks do wind people up a bit but whatever. We get straight to the front of the tartiflette hut and eat until we can eat no more! We deliberated buying a scrubby brush to try to immigrate our German pals, but at 25 euros, they can jog on! Amazon do one for £6.99 and we won’t have to carry it. Failing that, we have a yard brush 🙂
We waited ages queuing at the 1 public self cleaning in between toilet for Leon to let out some urine, and then got over to the bus stop. 201 to Bahnhof and then 285 to Airflugzen FKB. Will take about an hour and under 8 euros for us both! Winning! Taxi is more like 60-80 euros and not much quicker.
