So we are on our final day in Tromsø! everywhere was shut as it was Christmas Eve. Of course, the fjords and the deer hanging about never shot so we could still enjoy those. We had to get the car back for midday, so after that we headed to the airport. For a huge city, Tronzo airport is very small and underwhelming. However, this was massively made up by a connecting flight airport in Gdansk Poland. Most of the little shops were open and they were really decent. We got a lovely dinner which at 6 pm on Christmas Eve in an airport. You really wouldn’t expect something fresh and healthy. The toilets had multiple screens showing Gdansk along with coastal sounds, including seagulls squawking!! It was quite the experience, so much, so we both came away wanting to visit Gdansk! Maybe that will be the next holiday- who knows?
