We have a gentle journey across from the Berkshire’s to Boston airport today, and decide to include a stop to Northampton, to see what the USA version is like!
The first place we come across, a friendly chap in a neon tabard and a hard hat, who seems to be assisting the police, explained to us, the building we are admiring the graffiti art on, was actually the flat of Kevin Eastman who wrote teenage mutant ninja turtles!! Cool bit of local knowledge.
There are lots of alternative, indie shops about, and we enjoy having a mooch in the sunshine. We had a lot of cheerful homeless people asking us for change, we gave to the first woman, but couldn’t to all of them, sadly.
