After a little bit of a hairy sideways landing, we spot the epic Dalmatia mountains. This place looks like nowhere we have ever been before. Undulating dappled grey terrain, and tall columns of bottle green fir trees. We find the carhire company Alamo (Enterprise) and get an automatic Astra, and Leon readies himself to drive on the right side yet again. I ask the carhire man for any tips, and he says don’t go over the speed limit as lots of police trying to catch people. Cool, we can cope with that. We spot a local feline making himself comfy in a kids car seat. Awww!
