Girl’s hol: Day 4 pm – another climb and forced limoncello

After I woke up at about 4pm, we went for a walk to go up a tower of the Moors (mainly for the view!). It was a sweaty and hard climb up but wow, the view was worth it! The tower was there to look out for pirates in the 7th century. We didn’t spot any pirates, but we saw the lighthouse and turrets we had climbed earlier in the day. There were some beautiful birds too; swifts and swallows.

We then mooched on down into the town and were quite hungry, so we had an early dinner. Linds had fisherman style mussels, I had cod croquettes, and we both had grilled salmon and creme brûlée for main and dessert. The waiter force fed us an icey shot of limoncello at the end!

We are going to the Flamenco guitar show at the huge basilica style church this evening, if we can get tickets, and have bought some local pastries for after to have in the flat, ‘Xuixo‘, which look very dense! But they are said to have the coveted Catalan cream in the centre, so we are looking forwards to it!
